Dr. Cathy Lau, DVM

Dr. Cathy Lau is a graduate from Massey University, New Zealand. Spending 5 years living in NZ was an enriching experience to say the least- including delivering baby dairy calves on farm fields and trekking through the beautiful Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Upon graduating in 2016, she returned home to Toronto where she started her career in general practice. She then spent a year working at a 24-hour private practice where she oversaw emergency and critically ill patients. Dr. Lau has a keen interest in emergency and critical care medicine as well as soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology. She is committed to caring for her patients by improving their quality of life. She believes that healthy pets help improve owners’ overall health and well being. Outside of work, Dr. Lau enjoys travelling, going to the gym, hiking, spending time with family, friends, and her adopted Shih-Tzu Cooper.
