Dr. Amin Sabzevari Veterinarian (Locum)

Amin was born and raised in Iran, where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Azad University in 2010. From early on, he developed a strong passion for animal care, gaining hands-on experience both at an industrial dairy farm and in a companion animal clinic during his training. He also took part in several clinical research projects across different species, contributing to publications in peer-reviewed journals.

In 2011, Amin moved to Canada and began working as a research assistant at Toronto General Hospital, further expanding his experience with laboratory animals. Driven to continue growing his clinical and surgical skills, he volunteered with the International Humane Society in India and later completed the Veterinary Skills Enhancement Program (VSTEP) at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph.

Amin practiced in Lethbridge, Alberta from 2015 to 2018 at a busy, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital, where he developed a strong interest in emergency medicine and gained valuable experience with advanced diagnostics and treatments. In 2018, he returned to the Richmond Hill area to be closer to family and has since continued working in both emergency and general practice.

Amin truly enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and their pets, and he takes pride in providing thoughtful, compassionate care tailored to each individual patient.

Outside of the clinic, Amin enjoys traveling, staying active through jogging, watching movies, and spending quality time with his family, especially his daughter.
