Dr. Crystal Cheung Veterinarian

Growing up in the GTA, Dr. Crystal Cheung found her interest in animals at a young age from frequent visits to the Toronto Zoo and the African Lion Safari. She dreamed of becoming a wildlife expert and teaching others about animals around the world. At the same time, Dr. Crystal greatly enjoyed the sciences in school and thought that going into the field of medicine was her calling, so it was only natural that she became a veterinarian. She completed her Bachelor of Science Honours majoring in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph in 2021, and went on to graduate from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2025. Since graduating, Dr. Crystal moved home to the GTA and is excited to start at College Manor Veterinary Hospital and connect with the community!

Dr. Crystal is an avid traveler; throughout her studies, she's had the opportunity to spend time in Namibia, working with cheetahs, as well as in Australia, treating pets, livestock, and the occasional wildlife and exotics! She has spent most of her summers and weekends working in different clinics and volunteering at the OSPCA, where she adopted her four-legged feline best friend, Timbit.

Dr. Crystal's professional interests include pain management, internal medicine, preventative care, and dentistry. She is passionate about minimizing stress and fear for every patient who walks through the clinic doors.

When she's not at the clinic, Dr. Crystal enjoys playing video games, reading, watching movies, and trying new restaurants. She spends her free time with friends and family and catering to her cat Timbit's every whim.
